Contaminated land is one of Europe's most pressing environmental challenges. Many potentially contaminated sites lack access to the tools, methodologies, and frameworks needed for effective, sustainable remediation.
The ISLANDR project has been developing integrated solutions to this problem over the last years of the project duration. On 15 June, we're sharing everything with you—in a free, online webinar designed for researchers, policymakers, land managers/site owners, farmers, investors, and environmental professionals.
This event showcases integrated approaches to managing contaminated land through science, technology, and strategic planning, drawing from valuable insights and project results from the ISLANDR Project from the last three years.

About ISLANDR
The Information-based Strategies for Land Remediation, in short ISLANDR, is a multidisciplinary project, which is aimed at supporting the execution of the EU mission: A Soil Deal for Europe.
ISLANDR brings a dedicated focus to low input remediation through 7 test areas, including sites impacted by the green transition, such as former mining areas. This will ensure that soil remediation will be facilitated even when the cost of remediation is economically marginal or may even be negative.
